Lago di Como

Chillin like George Clooney sans a girlfriend at Lago di Como.

Como is very laid back compared to other cities in Italy. No wonder George brings his girlfriends here for a date. There's nothing much to do here but drink and eat (alcoholic) gelato. But my uncle told me it gets really wild and crazy during Summer.

Oh, I almost forgot, you can ride a funicolare in Como-Brunate to see the whole city.

Of course, I just have to try this!
 Como, Italy to Lugano, Switzerland
Como is just an hour away from Lugano via Trenitalia. The view is breathtaking and reminded me of Harry Potter movies.

 Switzerland's version of a "karinderya".

 Shopping time!!!
Shopping time? #MedyoDikitDikitSaBears
Italy and France are known for having designer outlets. Fox Town, in my opinion, is the best. It has a wide range of brands, from high end designer stores to RTW shops like H&M, Zara, Lacoste and Nike.
H&M was on crazy sale! #HappyKid

Gimme some love!

Milano

 Buongiorno!

You can't say you've been to Italy unless you've fed pigeons at Piazza del Duomo.
Ah, the Duomo di Milano is probably one of the best Gothic Churches I’ve seen in my life!
My photos may give an impression that it's hot and sunny but mind you, the weather was an average low at 15'C.
 Bellisima!

Red Oxfords, H&M
Be careful of scam artists giving away "free" bird feed. After you feed the pigeons, they will ask for money. Fortunately, we know better thanks to WikiTravel!

Only my family knows how "praning" I was during the whole trip, but in my defense, I've heard, read and watched (National Geographic's Scam City is one of my favorite shows) so many scary stories about scams in Europe.

We also stopped by Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II to check out Prada, and my mom and sister scored two bags! Didn’t find anything good for me :((

Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo is probably the most legit place I've been at. I felt so poor spotting rich businessmen with their super stylish girlfriends stepping out of their Lamborghinis and Ferraris while I'm drinking my-not-so-masarap-pinilit-nalang-ubusin guava flavored Minute Maid.

My attempts to look richer: One, by wearing a velvet blazer. Two, sexily pushing my hair back like Aaron Samuels.
Trenitalia is the best!
It's amazing how you can travel to another country via train in Europe.
Monte Carlo is very clean compared to Paris and Rome.

 The View

It only takes one hour to see the whole Monte Carlo when you ride this super cute train.

 Ah, I miss this!
There's nothing better than having brunch with your family while people watching in Monte Carlo. Everyone looks so classy and professional.

Venezia

Venice is probably one of the most interesting and lovely places in the world. Some find it overrated and too crowded tho, but for a closet geek like me, who loves rich architecture and enjoys people watching while getting lost looking for Piazza San Marco, Venice has a unique and romantic charm that appeals to me.

Getting there, we parked our car in Mestre and took a five minute train ride to Venezia Santa Lucia. Did you know that Venice is the world's only pedestrian city? It simply means, there are no cars but only vaporetti (water buses/taxis). Walking can be exhausting, overwhelming and confusing, so be prepared to get lost as it is very common.
 Grand Canal

Walking, standing and taking pictures all day makes it a different but pleasant experience. #TouristAtItsBest

Speaking of tourists, according to my research, there are more tourists than residents in Venice. How crazy is that?

Happy Birthday, dumpling! (The reason why we went to Europe)
