The Self-Guided Walking Tour

Touchdown, Aéroport Paris–Charles de Gaulle! Bienvenue!

Being the official tour guide and "travel agency" of the family, I plan, book and research all the details necessary for our trips (with the help of Papa Bear of course). Planning a Eurotrip is really overwhelming (specially if you plan to visit 5 or more Schengen countries). May God bless, full-time Travel Bloggers like FranceTravelPlanner, who made my life easier.

We followed the suggested Self-Guided Walking Tour for our first day in Paris (only my siblings know how I slept like a zombie baby as soon as we got to our apartment, I even skipped dinner!) and somehow saw all of Paris in one day.
 First Destination: The Eiffel Tower
Just because our apartment is across the tower and very close to the Metro.
As you can see, I still have a lot of energy here.

 Second Destination: Arc de Triomphe

I personally think that the Arc de Triomphe has the best view of Paris (You have to climb up a 284-step spiral stairs tho- I counted! More about it later).

 Third Destination: Avenue des Champs-Elyseés
The Orchard Road in Singapore and Canton Road in Hong Kong have nothing against THE CHAMPS-ELYSEES.

Bucket List Checked: Go shopping at Avenue de Champs-Elyseés! I scored two sunnies at H&M. Haha #MiddleClass

Fourth Destination: Galeries Nationales and Petit Palais
By this time, my creepers were killing me already.

Fifth Destination: Pont Alexandre III
Hello, Eiffel Tower!

Sixth Destination: Place de la Concorde, where the Egyptian Obelisk stands

Moving on, we dropped by the Jardin de Tuilleries then decided to go home and sleeeep!
Mind you, we've been walking for almost 5 km. And I was wearing creepers, so that's times 8 = 40 km. HAHA
Oh, on our way back to the apartment, we passed by the Eiffel Tower (again). Magnifique!
